Concerto Caledonia is a baroque ensemble that has built up a formidable reputation for its imaginatively stylish, dangerously dynamic interpretations of 17th and 18th Century music, especially music by Scottish composers.

With Pamela Thorby, one of Britain's leading recorder virtuosos, their programme promises to take us on a hair-raising journey from the Continent to Scotland and back. The trick will be to hang on tight!

Hear David McGuinness speaking about Concerto Caledonia and their repertoire for our January concert. Specially recorded for the club. »
