LOUISE COLLETT recently completed Scottish Opera's Emerging Artists programme and is now studying with Karen Cargill. She has a wide concert and oratorio repertoire, including works by Handel, Bach, Mozart, Schumann, Elgar, Duruflé and Britten. Her operatic roles have included Olga (The Merry Widow), Lehrbube (Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg) and Mère Jeanne (Les Dialogues des Carmelites).

Most recently, Louise has appeared as Wowkle in the Edinburgh International Festival's concert performance of La fanciulla del West. Future engagements include the role of Maddalena in Verdi's Rigoletto for Scottish Opera in May 2011.

As well as frequent appearances as soloist, CHRISTOPHER BAXTER is in constant demand as an accompanist and chamber musician, and recent performances include recitals throughout the UK, performances at the Latour and Uzerche Festivals in France, the Alba Festival of Music in Italy, a tour of the Faroe Islands with trumpet player, Johan Hentze and a solo recital at the Erin Arts Centre on the Isle of Man. Forthcoming performances include recitals for the Edinburgh International Festival, the Aberdeen International Youth Festival, a series of cello recitals with Laura Sergeant, and Janacek's Capriccio for Piano (Left Hand) and Winds at the RSAMD.
